In this collection I meant to continue this collaboration by using two highly iconic images of TOILETPAPER printed on panels and then applied to garments, handbags and sunglasses, thus furthering the technique which was the hallmark of my fall/winter show.
The two images I have chosen are a bird and an aloe plant damaged by a hand that cuts them with sharp scissors.
A punk-style act of rebellion? A fashionable decoration game? A warning from animal rights and environmental activists? In all pieces you find the CoSTUME NATIONAL “dna”: the asymmetries, the tailoring, the overlays, all minimal and rockandroll. "
