For summer 2012, the collection was presented as a showroom, with all the trappings of a sale session. Gaultier man is light, cheerful and with the air of spring. Color is back: red and blue background, tartan, navy, touches of khaki and red. Linen ennobles the denim or imitates the hound tooth. The prints blossom, colorful florals in cotton poplin or a Hawaiian version, which is a strong theme of the collection. The hibiscus flower is embroidered by hand for the knitwear, or appears on shirts through an accumulation of metal studs and pearl buttons.

While the storm patch is revisited on many pieces - shirt, t-shirt, jacket - the trench coat comes in
transparent nylon to reveal the stripes, pinstripes, the Prince of Wales and Clan fabrics. Among the house classics, the bombers, in a reversible version, sailor pants shorts, and finally the pantakilt, and its summer version : the navy stripped shortkilt.

MONSIEUR can also be sophisticated, wearing Black for an elegant smoking silhouette, or python reworked denim, or through Couture details –French lace, playing on transparency or applications, ethnical braid embroidery or handmade hibiscus flowers made out of metal string embroidery.
