For spring/summer 13, the Paul Smith Shoe women’s collection takes the ‘Men Only’ concept a step forward. The collection retains its masculine feel, inspired by the number of women who kept asking to buy Paul Smith men’s shoes in a smaller size.
Paul Smith has designed the latest collection with a focus on masculine shoes such as Oxfords and brogues. But the collection retains a feminine aesthetic and includes beautiful sandals, high heels and wedges.
Distinctive design features such as chunky wooden block heels are paired with punched holes, fringing, monk straps and big metal buckles. Soft but sturdy leathers and patents come in the season’s colours of sunflower yellow, navy, off-white and berry shades.
Highlights of the collection include sunflower-yellow suede ‘Segal’ shoes with punched holes on the upper; navy, brogue-style shoes with wooden block heels; and white leather flats with contrasting stitching, monk straps and distinctive upper fringing with hole detailing.
