This summer plays with the iconic pieces of the man’s wardrobe. The business man suit is worn with sandals and an ultra-décolleté tank top. We focus on the inside-out of b
lazer or trousers, the pin stripe is turned into pajamas and the suit resembles a bathrobe when cut in a new fluid viscose.
A riot of patterns, flowers, tiles print, break the rules in a graphic explosion. The cutout details become large stripes, strips, or patches on shirts, trousers or T-Shirts. The classical pattern of scarf tie invades silk twill shirt and bermudas.
Both bermudas and skirt-short are back. Reworked in suede, but also in stripped pajama viscose or classic wool, the skirt and the short trousers are worn over jersey leggings for a new cool look.
Strong point for this summer: Fishnet. It spreads over the basic jacket, rushes on the shirt or T Shirt. It plays as well with the knitwear for some transparency effects. Adorned with ribbons, it turns into embroidery for a new sailor stripe.
Another summer novelty for Jean Paul Gaultier is the "rustic chic" with the association of macramé pullover and classic trousers, or the silver linen cardigan with the suede short jogging.
